Config.sys and Autoexec.bat
The config.sys and autoexec.bat files are used during the boot process to execute commands and load legacy drivers MS-DOS and in the older versions of Windows. The config.sys file is run first. It sets up and configures the computer's user-defined hardware components. The autoexec.bat file executes commands and loads TSR programs.
